CRIANZA 2017, D.O. RIOJA

SENORIO DE LIBRARES, LA RIOJA

Our wines are the essence and the result of the work of several generations. For more than 100 years our ancestors have been dedicated to producing wine, cultivating their own vineyards and olive trees.

This dedication was recorded at the Universal Exposition in Paris in 1878, where our great-great-grandfather Pedro María Espinosa won the gold medal. We believe that we can contribute positively to the environment not only by practicing sustainable agriculture but through our production process, which is why from this year the cardboard used in our boxes comes from recycled paper.

The style of our wines is aimed at the most demanding palates and a young and innovative audience. Our project is to produce the best quality wines, spreading the culture of Rioja and creating our own history with Señorío de Librares.

VINIFICATION:

Made from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha, this wine is aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels before bottling.

TASTING NOTES:

Cherry-red with a terracotta rim. Medium intensity. The nose has nuances of fruit compote in a harmonious balance with aromas of vanilla and coconut. A good attack in the mouth, medium-bodied with well-polished tannins, which give an impression of refinement and elegance. Ideal for accompanying medium-and long-aged cheeses, charcuterie, blue fish and meats in sauces.
