MELER 9 MESES 2015, D.O. SOMONTANO

The vineyard of the Meler family is located in D.O. Somontano, at the foot of the Pyrenees, a small denomination of origin which surprises every time again in a positive way. There are few places in the world where such excellent conditions come together as they do here. The mountains in the Pyrenees, with a climate of freezing winters and extremely high temperatures in summer, are perfect for the production and elaboration of special mountain wines. The wines are mineral rich, have intense flavours with a delicious freshness.

Meler 9 Meses is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha and Tempranillo, harvested during the coldest part of September night to retain their ripeness, destemmed and a cold pre-fermentation is applied.

TASTING NOTES:

Red wine with cherry red colour with maroon rim. Strong bouquet, fresh, red ripe fruit with balsamic touches. Very expressive on the nose. On the palate rich with ripe fruit and good structure. Its aftertaste is strong and balanced.
